Scrapbooking websites are full of challenges for the holidays. New year greeting cards, papers and stamps with elements of Christmas ,  embellishments with snowflakes, Santa Claus and wishes for the new year.  Home design websites are full of ornaments for holidays : how to decorate for Christmas , how to serve up  the perfect holiday dinner. Gifts, Christmas trees, red and green,  winter,  holliday and magic are in the air.

I want a  little magic TOO! :-)
Although that outside sunny and warm [there is until yesterday ] and I didn't  have
anything Christmasy. So I decided to make some magic with what I had.

שנה חדשה
וסתם שלג של חורף.
אתרי סקראפ מלאים באתגרים לחגים. כרטיסי ברכה לשנה חדשה, נייר, וחותמות עם אלמנטים של חג קישוטים עם  פתיתי שלג, סנטה קלאוס ואיחולי שנה חדשה . אתרי עיצוב מלאים בקישוטים לחג : איך להתאים עיצוב הבית לתקופת החגים, איך לסדר שולחן בצבעים של חג. מתנות, עצי אשוח, בצעים של ירוק אדום ואווירה חורפית וחגיגית בכל עיצוב.
קסם באוויר...
אצלנו המון שמש  וחם [האמת התחיל קצת חורף]
ואני רציתי קצת מהקסם. רק שאין לי חומרים מתאימים ולא קישוטים חוץ מכמה מדבקות. אז מה עושים? עושים.

Alpha

I learned a new techniques that combine scrapbooking with mix media.

I used altered cardstock  for my handmade fence with layers of different mediums:
- decoart  decoration paste

- decoart texture fierro

- ranger distress crackle paint

- sudor acrylic paint

I enjoy making my own embellishments. So,  i used olive cardstock for a christmas tree brach. I altered them with encore ultimate metallic green ink, versa color seafoam ink, versacolor vanilla ink, silver ice stickles.

After the branch was ready,  I made the decorations from my new purchase from blitsy

 I created a few layers for this card

Layer #1 -  base card - white cardstok

Layer #2 - fence - [And I'm not counting all the layers of paint and a medium that has]

Layer #3- white lace

Layer #4 -   Bo Bunny cardstock stickers

Layer #5 - Bo Bunny chipbord stickers

and additional layers of embellishments

On inside and back side of the card I decorated to a minimum.

I enjoyed every second. Hope you enjoyed too :-)
